Supplies

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons agar agar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 1/2 cups bird seed

  1. Bring water to a boil. Stir in agar agar and honey until dissolved. Transfer to a large bowl along with bird seed and stir to combine.
  2. Fill each cavity of the mini doughnut pan with bird seed mixture. Refrigerate to set. Tie with decorative ribbon.

  • Broken crayons, various colors

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Fill each mini doughnut pan cavity with the same shade of broken crayons. Place in oven for 10 minutes to melt. Remove pan to a cooling rack to set, then place in freezer for a few minutes. Remove crayons and start coloring!

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles
  • Buttercream frosting
  • Decorative sprinkles

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease each cavity of the mini doughnut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until smooth.
  3. Pipe batter into doughnut pan and bake for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
  4. Stack 3 doughnuts on top of each other, spreading a small amount of frosting between each doughnut.
  5. Fill the center of each doughnut with decorative sprinkles and frost the entire outside to form a small cake. Cut and enjoy.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 3 tablespoons grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chives
  • 1 can biscuit dough, cut in quarters
  • Melted butter
  • Small slices tomato
  • Arugula

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter the mini doughnut pan.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, grated cheese and chives. Fill 6 doughnut cavities with egg mixture.
  3. Roll 3 of the biscuit quarters into a rope and form into a circle to fill doughnut pan. Repeat with remaining dough. Brush with butter. Bake for 8 to 9 minutes.
  4. Remove pan and cut each biscuit in half. Place an egg doughnut in between each half, along with a slice of tomato and some arugula.
